The Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission played a key role in what has turned into a win-win scenario for Tom Houska, Martech and Pearl Interactive Network. Included among the support services offered by the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission are computer equipment, phone service and consultation with a rehabilitation engineer to outfit Tom with assistive technologies. Bill Merholz, a rehabilitation engineer, installed Dragon on Tom’s computer system.
Dragon, a voice activated technology, minimizes wrist and hand use, while enabling Tom to complete daily activity reports.
