What kinds of jobs does PIN have for our consumers?

If we are an agency that wants to place people who require JAWS or Dragon, what is the charge?
The charge will vary between $5,000 to $10,000 per placement. This fee pays for training, IT support to create a software bridge between our VOIP system, the assistive technologies and help desk support.
How to you get jobs for our consumers?
We procure outsourced contracts. The contracts dictate how many positions need to be filled and the types of jobs that will be open.
Do you provide benefits?
That depends on the contract.
Can employees work full time or part-time?
That depends on their physical limitations, SSDI limitations and other factors unique to the individual.
What are the general* specifications for equipment and software?
- Windows based Vista or XP system
- Minimum Memory: 1 GB for XP or 2 GB for Vista
- Hard drive space - minimal
- Microsoft Office
- Dedicated work space
- Computer software should include whatever assistive technologies are required
- Good lighting
- High speed Internet access (Cable preferred)

How do you screen home based agents?
We identify the skills required to perform the job and provide skills screening on line. We conduct background checks, a thorough reference check and conduct a three-phase interview process by phone.
How do you train home based agents?
We use webinars and conference calls to train agents. We conduct daily conference calls that are used to continue to train agents. Agents can be mentored by existing agents.
